Our mission

Pioneering the future of hearing care.

A hearing aid designed to make setup simple, personalization intuitive, and ongoing hearing support easier from home.

A note from the founders

To anyone who's ever struggled to hear,

We started Ampira because the math is staggering: roughly 1.5 billion people live with hearing loss, yet fewer than one in five who could benefit from a hearing aid actually wear one. The reasons are mundane. Clinics are far away, devices cost as much as a used car, and the fitting process assumes you have weeks of free afternoons to spend in waiting rooms.

We saw the state of the current system and kept asking the same question: what would hearing care look like if you designed it for the person who has never been to an audiologist? Not a watered-down version of the clinical model but a different model entirely. One that can be shipped to your door, administers a hearing assesment, fits to your hearing profile in under fifteen minutes, and even lets a real audiologist fine-tune your settings from anywhere in the world.

That is what we are building. A device that costs a fraction of what's on the market, a guided self-assessment that meets clinical standards, and an ongoing care relationship that doesn't depend on geography.

If any of this resonates, we'd love to connect with you.
